For New Thought centers and ministers
Your website is your front door.
I build warm, beautifully made websites for centers and ministers: the kind a newcomer finds late on a Tuesday night, feels welcomed by, and walks through on Sunday morning.
Call or text anytime. The person who answers is the person who builds.
Chapter I
The walk up
Nearly every newcomer walks up to your center twice. The first time is quiet: a search late at night, a name half remembered from a friend, a look at whatever the internet says about you. Only after that, maybe, comes Sunday.
That first walk up decides whether the second one ever happens. A warm, clear, honest website tells a stranger what your best greeter would: you are welcome here, this is when we gather, here is how to find us. I build that kind of front door, shaped to your center and to the way people actually arrive. That is what First Cause Studio is for: lowering the barrier to entry, one center at a time.
Chapter II
What working together looks like
- You work directly with me. I study this movement and work in it every day, so you never have to explain New Thought to a customer-service line or a vendor learning your world as they go. The person you talk to is the person who builds your site, and every page is shaped to serve the purpose of the movement, not poured into a template.
- Your site puts what matters most up front. Service times, directions, and a way to reach you sit right where people look first, because those are the things a visitor actually came for, and nobody should have to hunt for Sunday morning. A good site does more than look nice. It works, like a door that opens.
- You lead the ministry. I handle everything technical. You do what you are called to do, and the technical side, all of it, is mine: the hosting, the updates, the fixes, the things that break at the worst possible moment. I keep it all running quietly, so your time and attention stay on the people you serve.
Chapter III
Yours, outright
Your web address is registered in your own name from the first day, and I never move it. When your site goes live, you hold every key to it: the files, the passwords, the domain. Once the build is paid off, the whole site is yours outright, and the ongoing upkeep stays month to month.
And you will always know what a thing costs before you say yes. Plain prices, in writing, before any work begins. First Cause Studio was built on that rule, and it shows on every page of the agreement.
If your center’s website makes you wince a little, or there’s no website at all, that’s normal, and it’s fixable.
I’d love to look at it with you, no pressure and nothing to prepare. Call or text me anytime, or pick a time that works and we’ll talk it through together.
